Scale: 360 m long, 31 m wide, precast T-beam girder viaduct

The V409 viaduct was built using precast t-beams similar to the V408 viaduct. This viaduct was 360 m long and 31 m wide. Both V408 and V409 viaducts are located on the European side of Istanbul and serve as extensions of the First Bosphorus Bridge.

Services provided included quality control, project management, construction supervision, and the adaptation of design and erection documents to local conditions. The work involved reinforcing piers, replacing the elastomer bearing and expansion joint, installing a falling-down prevention device and a transverse displacement restriction device, and expanding the pier foundations.
