A plan was developed to improve the earthquake and flood resilience of a buried pipeline located in the Marmara Ereğlisi/Tekirdağ region. As part of the services, one-dimensional and three-dimensional structural models were created, and comprehensive structural analyses were conducted. The analysis results indicated that the existing pipeline would not achieve the required earthquake performance level due to excessive lateral and longitudinal deformations that could result from soil liquefaction during an earthquake or flood. Based on these findings, alternative rehabilitation approaches were examined, taking into account the existing protection systems of the buried pipeline and the soil segments along the pipeline’s route.
