The scope of tasks included consultancy services for reinforced concrete (RC) and steel structures at Unilever Türkiye’s Çorlu, Dilovasi, and Çayirova facilities. All the main production facilities were evaluated, and a retrofit priority schedule was developed based on the significance of the buildings and structures. Retrofit works ranged from conventional methods like adding shear walls, column jacketing, and FRP applications, to innovative approaches such as the use of energy dissipating fluid viscous dampers. Consultancy services also involved Peer-Review for the structural design of steel racks and cold-formed storage buildings designed by third parties.
